4. The Lahore Fort

The Lahore Fort is more than 4 Centuries Old. This grand magnificent fort was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar at the city of Lahore. It has a vast historical background and attracts tourists who are much interested in history. It is spread over 20 hectares. The Lahore Fort is one of the noblest structures in the world, a finest piece of architecture and one of its own kind. It has two gates, The Alamgiri gate, which is the principal gate,  and the Masjidi gate. Point of interests at Lahore Fort are The Badshahi Mosque, The Sheesh Mahal, Moti Masjid, Tomb of Allama Iqbal and Museums.
The BadShahi Mosque is The Grand Mosque and is the second large Mosque of Pakistan. It clearly shows the Perfect idea of Mughal Architecture. The Sheesh Mahal is a Temple which was build with Mirrors. Today however it does not exist in its original structure and many mirrors are stolen. The Moti Masjid is a Mosque whose dome is built with the Finest Pearls (Motis). The Tomb of Allama Iqbal is a tomb built after the famous poet Allama Iqbal. The Lahore fort is indeed an awesome place to visit, especially for people who are interested in History, Culture and trend of The Mughals. However today it needs attention by PTDC as  its not strong as it was
Centuries ago. It is rated 7.7 out of 10
